Emilcaddy and Carrytank up to 220 litres are shipped in a box. Processing time is 2 business days. Shipping fees are included in the product’s price Canada wide. Delivery time may vary depending on the destination, but most orders are delivered within 3 and 10 business days.

Carrytank 330 litres or bigger and Hippotank ship on a pallet. Shipping fees are included in the product’s price Canada wide to commercial addresses only.
If you need your tank delivered to a residential address and/or need tailgate service, please let us know as there might be extra service fees.

Shipping to the US

Commercial vs. Residential Addresses

Definition of Commercial Address

Commercial addresses are those defined by our freight carrier as commercial sites. Typically these addresses are zoned as commercial real estate. Most commercial sites have tractor-trailer access and a loading dock.

Definition of Residential Address

The fact that a business is being operated from a location does not qualify it as a commercial address. Any business being operated from a home, apartment, or other dwelling where people live on the premises is considered to be a residential address. Certain rural addresses on secondary roads are also considered residential for transport purposes -no truck zone-, even when a company (farm or other) operates on-site.


Common Carrier Delivery Options

Commercial Address without Tailgate Service

To qualify for this rate the address must meet the terms of a commercial address, as defined above. In most cases, it will also have tractor-trailer access with a loading dock suitable for unloading with a pallet jack or forklift.


Commercial Address with Tailgate Service

To qualify for this rate, the address must meet the terms of a commercial address, as defined above. Tailgate delivery is provided for those businesses not equipped with a loading dock. There is an additional CA$60 fee for tailgate service. Please be sure to select this service during checkout if you need it.


Residential Address without Tailgate Service

There is an additional CA$95 fee for deliveries to a residential address. This shipping method should be chosen with extreme caution. Most residential areas are not suitable for delivery without a tailgate. The driver, in most cases, will NOT be able to assist with the unloading of the shipment. Please remember that it is solely your responsibility to remove the shipment from the truck. Please have the necessary manpower available to receive your items with limited delay to the driver. There could be extra fees if you need this service and isn’t included in your purchase.


Residential Address with Tailgate Service

Most residential deliveries via common carrier should choose this method. Freight carriers prevent their drivers from assisting with the unloading of heavy equipment other than to lower it via the tailgate to ground level. Please have the necessary manpower available to receive your items with limited delay to the driver. There is an additional CA$95 fee for residential address and a CA$60 fee for tailgate service. 


Warehouse pickup

If you choose to pick up your order at our warehouse in Laval, QC, please apply the product’s pickup code to obtain the discount during checkout and choose “warehouse pickup” as shipping option.
Your order will be ready for pickup 1 or 2 business days after purchase. We will send you pickup instructions to the email provided in your order. Please note our warehouse is not open to the public and pickup is available on appointment only.


All of our products are made with care and covered against manufacturing defects on the structure of the container for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery.

On electronic or electrical parts, including electric motors, meters, automatic nozzles and hoses, warranty for manufacturing defects is always 3 (three) months from the date of delivery. The warranty is limited to the replacement, free of charge, of the defective piece only when such defect has been confirmed by the technicians of Emiliana Serbatoi.

Under no circumstances Serbatoi Canada shall recognize claims for labour charges or related consequential parts or damages.

Serbatoi Canada accepts no responsibility or liability towards the client and to any third party for facts and events that may occur due to the misuse and/or maintenance of the product, as well as for the use of unsuitable equipment, for tampering and damages which are consequences of failed operation and any other cause not attributable to Serbatoi Canada.

This warranty strictly does not cover damages that arose from negligence, misuse, wear and tear, or not in accordance with product instructions (dropping the product, etc.).

The customer is responsible for inspecting the product at the moment of delivery and informing the driver of any damage and/or refusing the delivery. No warranty claims will be accepted for damages during transport if the proof of delivery was signed as ‘received in good order’.

The Client must claim in writing any quality defects within 8 days from delivery of the goods or from discovery in case of hidden defects. Complaints of any nature will not suspend the obligation to make the payments agreed. No compensation for direct and indirect damages and expenses of any kind will be granted by Serbatoi Canada.

Please provide a valid proof of purchase in your initial enquiry, such as your order number on our online store and a photo/video of the faulty product.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer the warranty to products without proof of purchase.

Order cancellation

Orders cancelled prior to shipping will be subject to a standard 3% credit card payment processing fee (unless paid with bank/Interac transfer).
Orders cancelled after shipping are subject to a standard 15% restocking fee to recoup freight costs. Please see our returns policy.

Returns policy

At Serbatoi Canada we stand behind every product we sell. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your product, return it in the 30 days following your purchase, in its original condition and packaging with your original receipt for a refund, exchange or store credit. Some conditions and exceptions apply*.

Please let us know about your return or exchange to service@serbatoi.ca before returning your item.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Shipping fees of items sold with “free shipping” will also be deducted from your refund.
Returns with the original sales receipt will be refunded by the original method of payment or Interac e-Transfer.

There are no returns or exchanges on tanks that have been filled with fuel or used power equipment.
Damaged or defective products are subject to the legal or manufacturer’s warranty, as applicable.
There are no returns on any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error; or that has been shipped back without proper packaging.
No returns on any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Notwithstanding this Return Policy, Serbatoi Canada (11623567 Canada Inc.) reserves the right to limit or refuse a return for a reason not stated above. This Return Policy may be modified at any time without notice.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, to your bank account by Interac e-Transfer or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please note a 3% credit card payment processing fee will be deduced from your refund (unless paid with bank/Interac e-Transfer).
